Is it worth it?

Was just wondering if it was worth comming back to the game after a couple of years. Starting to get bored of jumping around from F2P game to F2P game with crappy support and even more of a sht hole of game codeing....(example: Runes of Magic) Either way if i do decide to come back did all or most of the player base leave to FFXIV (or at least where you can tell a noticable diffrence). The way i see it there is no point in returning to this game if the player base has dropped to a dangerously low lvl...because if i recall the better majority of the game was a complete bore fest if not done within a group.

Hey, Runes was fun! I played to 50/50 just after beta ended. But I had a good time.

Anyways, I think it's worth it. I haven't played Abyssea yet, but everyone I talk to seems to like it.

Yeah was thinking about returning to RoM here as of late also but after spending a couple of days on the forums i have pretty much decided against it sence they have had an massice outbreak of hacks problems with the diamonds not going through on top of that they still havent fixed the class balance issues the most noticable one being the warden...you would think after a whole year of not playing the game they would fix the warden but nothing...nada ever since it's release lmao. Plus i spent much less on this than i ever did on RoM. My usual on RoM for an month was almost $100 compared to just the what was it $15 a month if i remember correctly for FFXI.

lol the whole diamond buying and tiering up items is what destroys your wallet.

I liked the massive number of mounts you could buy though.

Agreed lol.... Still they seem more intent on pushing more content out rather than fixing problems and bugs that have been out for over an year. It's simple things like that that ruin great games. Yeah it's great that they raised the lvl cap to 62 but what is the point sence seige is still buged like crazy...Like i said over an year and things that should have been dealt with promptly and fixed and out of open beta are still in the open beta phase amazingly lmao.

Hey, Runes was fun!

Runes felt so clunky I deleted it off my harddrive after spending days downloading it.

Then I wandered into FFXI and all was well in the world.
