Coming back after a few years

I just reactivated my old account and did a world transfer to Ragnarok. I am so confused. They have added so much since the last time I played. Is anyone on here in that server? I would greatly appreciate some help in learning all this level sync business. My character name is Sumiso.

It's stupid simple actually - you don't have to worry about having different sets of armor for different level caps any more. Ever.

In an exp party, it is now considered proper etiquette for the party leader, under his/her party menu, to hit the "Level Sync" button and choose the lowest-leveled member in the party, whose level should be appropriate for the camp they are at. This maximizes exp for everybody.

mostly what he said but all gear caps down to a "fair amount" which makes it stink in most cases. Any stat gear gets gimped and some of it gives you no stats when capping down(to low levels). It's like you're that lvl again too with the same agro rules and limits of spells and abilites...

and along with your higher lvl armor getting nurfed so do your skills. so you cant skill up if you have skills capped at that lvl, which can pose problems later on if all your exp parties are lvl sync.

You keep telling yourself that, but I'm gonna hang on to my Baron's Saio and Knowledge Rings a while longer. I'll take +Stats over an effectively empty gear slot any day.
