returned after 3 years! help US account / EU game?

Hi

I've returned after playing the game for 3 years.

Here's the story so far:

Years ago I bought an unused US copy on Ebay although I live in the UK (i couldn't find a copy here. I have the game and the first 2 expansions. I later bought a XBOX360 EU copy from gamestation and I logged in fine.

I would now like to buy the other 2 expansions and I saw I can buy FINAL FANTASY XI ULTIMATE COLLECTION on steam digital download for £19.99 with all the games, but by my guessing this will be a EU copy.

If I was to buy this, could I log in and use my current US account?

Please help I don't want to buy it if i cant use it with my characters.

you can but to change any billing information you have to log in using the US client. Also all the codes for the expansions are region specific so you'll probabaly have issues using EU codes to activate stuff on a US account.

Also keep in mind that you cannot link the US account to an EU SE account. Fun.

You need the American Ultimate Collection for a registration code to add the missing expansions to your account. You need a European install disc for the Ultimate Collection to install the data for the missing expansions toyour Xbox so you can use them once they are on your account.
