Got booted off my account for some reason

      Well I managed to get a hold of SE last night and we sorted it all out. Apparently it was a combination of 2 things.

      First apparently somehow someone else got my password for my pol account.
      Second in an effort to solve this i linked my square-enix account with my pol account which effectively locked both parties out of the account as I didn't realize i had to adjust my pol login to include my se login. But the good news is that I can log on to FFXI again yay.

          if you ever get a /tell from a "GM" report it, because they are not GMs

            Totally... but I still hate their new(ish) out-of-game-way of reporting these knuckleheads.

                If you haven't ordered one already, I suggest ordering a security token. More security and if it just so happens that you get your account stolen, they'll restore your account. (I don't know what the stipulations are behind that restore, but it is listed on the new SE account information.)

                  Same here my pc is basicaly a bag of crap with some wires in. I can bring up pages ok while in game but SE pages cause me to disconnect from the game.
                  Why should we have to log out of the game to report people that shouldnt' be there in the first place.

                  I think servers should take turns in being locked from creating new characters at lest we'd get a break from the tell's.
                  The worst thing ever was the free trials.
