I have been away from the game now for years due to joining the military. Now that i am back and have free time i wanted to catch up and play. Couldnt recover my old ID figured that but i decided to start and joined. Now here I am level 8 warrior and cant level at all and there is no partys. Is it even worth playing anymore? Any hints something i missing on, i havent seen anyone lower then 50 all week. Thanks and sorry if this has been asked before couldnt find much.

Thanks for the answer back, I should have looked around the site longer just was stuck. I remember when i started playing in 2004 seemed it was so easy to get a group of people together now Quetzalcoatl looks dead. But i will check out these links, once again thanks for your time.

No worries... I'll say the game is a bit top-heavy. Finding buddies to lvl with ya at low lvl's is slightly more difficult than it was before. But once you find yourself in a social LS, that should change. I'd proly just /emote the lowbies you do see in an attempt to be social and maybe one will get ya a pearl.

You can go from 1-14 by just steamrolling EPs and using your Emp band and such. After that... I don't really know haha. FoVs are dope though.

If you have gained enough Conquest points (and I don't know if you have by lvl 8) you can buy an Emperor and/or Empress which adds I think 50% more xp per mob until it reaches it's limit. Definitely a must buy as soon as you can. You can buy them from the same person who gives out the Signet.

I'm not sure how saavy you were with the game when you used to play... but if you weren't, there are a few command entries that might help you determine the level range of people on your server... and help you to find parties a little easier.

/sea all 1-75 (would show you all the people currently online between levels 1-75 in accending order)
/sea all inv (would show you all people currently online who are looking for a party)
/sea all inv 1-75 (would show you the same thing, but limits it to people between said levels)
/sea all nin 1-75 (would show you a list of all the NIN who are currently online between said levels... in accending order)
(switch 1-75 with any level range you would like to limit your search to. 10-20, 20-30, 33-56... anything really)

For all I know... the population of your server could very well be as low as you say... and in that case, your best bet is to find and join a good Social LS or Static XP group willing to drind with you up to a decent level. With the addition of the Level Sync system a few years back, certain zones have become incredibly popular. Once you get to level 20, head to Qufim Island. You could realistically level from 20-75 without ever leaving that zone. Your skills would be gimp... but you could do it.

Again, if you already knew this, I don't mean to insult your intelligence. I didn't know those command entries until years after I started playing. As a result... I had a lot of trouble gaging how many people of particular level ranges were online. Using them, I started to build my own parties. It made a huge difference in the long run. I hope that helps.

Thanks for all the info, It took me a few hours but i did find someone to lvl with for a bit. Forgot how addicting the game is. My wife i think wanted to kill me lol. Anyways thanks for all the help. Also anyone in Quetzalcoatl ?
