I'm thinking about returning to FFXI, but I have a bit of a problem I think. After canceling my content ID, I canceled my Playonline account too. I don't remember my Pol ID anymore or have the book that came with the game anymore, so I guess I can't reactivate my Playonline account. If I were to buy a new copy of FFXI, is it possible to put my old content ID on the new POL account? Or is the content ID forever linked to just that one POL account?

SE Might be able to help you, but you'll have to have a few other pieces of information besides the POL ID since you don't have it anymore.

i'm almost 99% sure you can't transfer content ID's to new POL id's. HOWEver, You may beable to re-activate your old, lost, POL ID and from there your content ID's can be recovered through the "return home to vana'diel campaign" If i'm not mistaken.Comment

have a similar situation, gonna try and get old toon restored but all i have is reg codes and Pol ID. dont have the credit card i used to and i gave false infos on name, date of birth, and other things etc.Originally posted by Isla View Post

You can't can't transfer content ID's to new POL ID's. I asked this very exact same question to SE when I called, trying to get back my old account when I realized starting from scratch wasn't such a hot idea.Comment
