very old time player coming back

After trying to get a 14 day trail with no success. I decided I'm coming back. I canceled my account back in 2004, maybe 2005.

I just need to know if my toon will still be there for me, and this is on a ps2 account?

If I do fall in love with FFXI again can I upgrade to a pc/xbox360 and still keep myaccount?

My answers are probably answered on other forums but couldn't find them.

Also are there any LS that are accepting new members, I'm sure my old LS is dead by now? My old toon was on Fairy server and have a 32NIN, 29THF. Probably take me a week or so to get the hang of things again. Was a very good puller and tank back in the day.

Its very likely that your character is gone. You quit well before they got into the business of restoring accounts rather than delete them after a set period of time like they used to.

In the minuscule chance your character still exists, so long as you have your old PS2 POL account info and you didn't delete your POL account, you can log on to POL through any version. Probably just better to get the forthcoming PC or 360 collections, though. Info on those collections can be found at the POL website.

A friend of mine quit back in 2004 and recently, albeit briefly, returned. After installing the game and reactivating his content IDs his characters were still there. It really is the luck of the draw with S-E, many other people haven't been so lucky.

Even my mules were still there, but I wasn't expecting anything. Good luck!
