yeah people keep asking this question, jsut play the game till XIV comes out, and switch over. If you find that "a waist of time" then you have found your answer already ;p

Since you want us to make your decision for you. You will play FFXI now, and the day FFXIV comes out, you post a bunch of nasty impolite and possibly personal insults into your FFXI link shell since its the last time you'll ever log on.... or something.
