hey everyone! been reading the forums for awhile and finally decided to join. i quit ffxi several years ago and considering returning. (i know you get these posts a lot) but the question i have is-if i return which server(s) are the most populated? one of my favorite aspects of the game was pting with other players, and are there still pt's in the dunes? anyway thanks for reading

Don't join a server based on population. You will get parties just fine on any server. More people = more competition = less fun = sucks

That said, Odin is the most populated servers as far as I know.

I believe you can if you run a window's emulator on it, but I'm not entirely sure.

exscuse my ignorance, im not very computer savvy but if i got windows for my mac would it run then?

I checked on this a few months ago. Neither Parallels nor any form of Wine will run it properly. Your only option is a dual-boot to XP or Vista. And I don't dual-boot because I only reboot like every other month.

There is a new version of Parallels now, but that was only in the past month or two, and I haven't looked for any message board threads since then.

Bootcamp - No problem.
VMWare Fusion - Depends on what Mac you have.
