    I'm Baaaaack!

    Well, I've done it. I have, once again, re-subscribed to FFXI. Since I quit roughly a year ago, I've been playing other MMOs on and off(AoC, Lineage II, EVE, and... *shudder* WoW). AoC was probably my favorite out of all of them, but after the game devs decided to nerf everything to oblivion without fixing the actual problem... (Remember the RNG nerf were RNGs did the same damage to every monster regardless of the monster's level? Well, imagine if instead of fixing the scaling issue, They kept the same-damage problem but reduced said damage by a factor of 10).

    After finding out I both forgot my PoL password AND lost my registration keys, I called PoL support yesterday, fearing the worst... and I got very lucky. The person on the other end was extremely nice. They not only let me guess my birthyear around 30 times(Apparently when I signed up originally, I wasn't quite old enough and bumped it down a few years). After that they placed an exception for the registration codes on my account so I don't need them to purchace content IDs, reset my password and everythign was well again. So this morning I just re-activated two of my IDs(Main and a demi-mule I kinda level) so I'm downloading the updates now... 6 hours, urgg!

      nice! it definitely beats having to start over. I would go insane if I had to start FFXI from scratch, and I don't even have a lv.75 yet.

      but if the worst case happened, I would decide to level MNK. since I would only need to level 2 jobs total to reach that goal (MNK/WAR) and I have a sharp affinity in joining/making parties and leveling really fast. :p no offense to MNKs, but I prefer a harder and more challenging job with a wider array of uses and abilities/magic. but IMO, mnk is definitely more fun than rdm, blu, whm, blm, rng, drk and some others. but I have my secret 2 jobs I prefer the most. :p

          Anyway, now that I'm back anyone on Midgardsormr want to help me with the Apoc. Nigh fight? I really want to finish up the CoP/RoTZ storylines, sort of a in with a blast thing.

              I would but I'm still in the process of clearing CoP (@6-4.)
