well i used to play ffxi for the xbox 360 and quit but now i want to return. The reason i quit was because my xbox broke and when i returned it i couldnt keep my hard drive so everything got deleted. I installed the game again on my new xbox but my pol account didnt show up for me to log in (because it was in my broken xbox's harddrive). I got angry and said fuck it and canceled the account by phone. now, months later i feel like returning but im not sure how they will give me my account back. Alsso, the gamertag that was linked to the account got deleted with the xbox and i dont have the info to recover it. please helpme im bored out of my mind without ffxi!!!!

Well, your POL account isn't connected to a gamer tag, so there's no need to worry there. I'm sure there's an account recovery system somewhere on their website for cases like this. I'll give it a check and post back if nobody else has replied. -

are u sure the account and gamer tag aren't linked together cuz i remember that when i tried to log in trying to use any other gamertag, i wouldn't let me an it told me to use the corrrectComment

Hmm... Well I've used the same account on the PC, PS2, and pretty soon I'll get it intalled on my 360, so there's no reason that it wouldn't let you on just because you logged in under a different gamertag.
As far as searching for the account recovery process, I havn't found a lot, other than a phone number, but sadly they're closed until monday at this point. Unless you can remember your PoL username and password, you may have to wait until monday for SE to help you.Comment
