Hello guys, I am new. I would like to say hi. I just started FFXI today and made an account for this website,Dreams In Vana'diel. I always looked at stuff in this website since I loved watching FFXI on youtube and such, but I never made an account since, well, I never played XD So, here I am. Hehe, I love FFXI even through I am a lvl 4 MNK Tarutaru. I am on the Bahamoth server. One question, At what lvl can I be a PUP and is /MNK good? Thanks

When you get a job to level 30, you can complete certain quests to unlock the other jobs. Before that, you'll get to take on the subjob quest at 18.

And yes, /mnk is a viable sub for PUP. That doesn't make it the only sub for PUP, but MNK's have a higher hand2hand skill naturally, and will complement PUP's h2h attack style.

all of the unlock quest can be done after you get your first job to lvl 30. Puppetmaster does however require alot of sneaking around some very dangerous areas....

Welcome to FFxi and welcome to Dreams.

Main thing is to just have [fun]

I haven't gotten Pup yet... I have heard it's a spendy job to both acquire and maintain but do not know any Pups to confirm that. So good luck.

I will say that what I wanted to level in the beginning changed several times on the long road to 30. Thought I would do Thf all the way, then Rng, then I went on a War tangent to 40 Now, I've finally settled on a main I never even considered when I first started... Dancer. And I'm having a blast.
