I may come back to ffxi this week

I have three questions.
1. Will adding WotG to my old account give me 30 free days or is that just a trial?
2. When I wad last playing in March, I forgot to cancel my account before I went out of town. Will the 30 days from WotG, if not a trial, cover that month?
3. I'm thinking of changing to something else once my RDM gets to 30. Anyone have any suggestions?

I don't think you can add 30 free days to an account simply by installing an expansion. I think the only time 30-free-days happens is when you first register a FFXI Content ID.

After getting RDM to 30, you just have so many options available to you, it isn't funny. If you like the hybrid mindset, some people would recommend Blue Mage. If you loves you some good Magic, be it Black or White, Scholar could be for you. If you want a heavy attacker with little magic at all, you may be interested in Dark Knight. Or, some personal advice from me: go Paladin, as if you aren't going to go Red Mage, you may as well take up the second most awesome job there is.

But, really, there are so many more options than that. Listing them all would be a waste of time, as ultimately, you just have to go with what you like. Just remember that there are consequences to not leveling appropriate Support Jobs (subjobs) first, and you'll be fine (as in, if you go Paladin without a Warrior subjob, it may or may not help you to avoid the Dunes until 15-or-so; I would know).

Okay,thanks alot. I was hoping I could just pay the month that didn't get paid and buy WotG for the 30 days. Also, Scholar or Paladin do sound like classes I would like to play.

o oo o i got a question too does SE still go by the end of the month thing or has it changed to 30 days and then you need to repay?
