trying to return

so i am trying to return to ffxi but when i enter my credit card information they tell me that the server is busy or that i entered the wrong info on my card. note that i am using a debit instead of a credit. anyway it is always the same. i try to enter my info and submit it twice and then they tell me that the card im using isn't available to use for this which is absolutly rediculous since it was the card i used a year ago when i played. is there possibly something im doing wrong. or am i just getting screwed over right now.

Is it a VISA or Mastercard? I know FFXI refuses certain cards.

it is a visa both of the cards i have tried using are visa

Weird... If your card is valid and you're able to make transactions with it, I would just wait a day. Sometimes they need to do maintenance on the Registration servers, so that might be what's going on.

alright i guess i will just do that. thanks for the help. but man am i gonna be p'od if it just wont let me register. i really need a change of pace from wow and i used to love this game.

is it a visa or a visa electron?

visa electron cards do not work for online transactions, unless something has recently changed...
