Returning to FFXI ^^

Hello everyone!

I'm returning to FFXI after a year+ removed, simply because I miss the damn game I've been on other MMOs but none quite do it for me like FFXI. If anyone is on Midgardsormr, I'm Shinta. So if you'd like to /befriend me or play sometime, send me a PM here or message / /tell me in-game. Take care!

Welcome back to the game. I'm on Midgard and I usually play at my leisure (i.e. not tied down by endgame LS responsibilities) so if you need someone to help you get back on track or do missions and whatnot, feel free to hit me up. Character name is Armando.

Thanks ^^ Currently my main concern is doing the dreaded CoP >_< I believe I'm on 4-3, the Ouryu fight. However, if my friend comes back with me, I'd like to get his Promies done if at all possible. If you'd like to help with anything, it'd be greatly appreciated. I don't have much to offer you atm, but I'd be willing to when I got back on track, item/gil wise.

Funny, I was doing CoP too 'til my friends had to go on hiatus because of university.

I wouldn't mind doing Promies, I want to farm them for seals and Tactics Pearls anyways. Last I did was Ouryu, it was a fun fight. Fortunately thanks to the last update, doing level-capped things won't be a pain in the ass lol.

I don't expect profit. Just that you scratch my back in return =P Maybe I could keep doing CoP with you.

Yes, the update will make it less of a hassle for gear lol. I'll definitely help with what I can if ever you need it. I'll be doing the update after work so hopefully it doesn't take too long. I'll also talk to my friend to see if he wants to play tonight. I'll still be on even if he isn't Oh, if you wanna continue on CoP with us, feel free. It's always nice to know you have more people to do things with instead of constantly having to find them. If you have friends who'd like to come along, they're more than welcome!

Well I am trying to get CoP done on one of my characters right now. I'm not having much luck. LOL Seventeen different pick up parties with multiple tries in some of them and I still am not past the Promies! /sigh I've all but given up on doing it, which sucks. So I'd be more than happy to help Absentia. Send a PM via the forums if you are interested.

Yep yep! ^^ If you saw me running around on my current character, you'd know who I was just by the name.

Ya it certainly is. Funny thing is, there were actually more but I started keeping count after the first few failures. Twice were ls's groups too. I will say that I have 2 of the Promies done and both were done with those 2 ls groups but still......

I must have been really lucky with pickup groups. Slow progress, but all the CoP missions I've done so far have been pickups. No more then 3 people in the group were part of any planning, and even that was just 'lets see if we can get more people on Sunday.'

Really slow progress though.

Oh I'd take slow in a heartbeat!! I've been at this now since CoP was released sooooo.....
