Greetings adventurers!

After getting some things straight, I am contemplating a return to Vanadiel.
After taking a look at the economies (FFXIAH) and other reputable FFXI message boards (FFXIAllkhazam, Killing Ifrit etc...), I have concluded that a return to Vanadiel would be vain without first establishing a base of friends or adventurers to begin playing with.

The main point of this post is to attempt to galvanize a group of players (returning or current) together and start adventuring from scratch. The objective is to create an intrinsic (static) group of serious and dedicated players who will start the game together, endure the game together, and end the game together.

If all goes well, the group will most definitely form into a linkshell; recruiting other players we encounter in game. The whole point is to organize a community ahead of time so we do not have to go through the tribulations of finding a linkshell and/or sitting around looking for help during the early-mid stages of the game. (subjob quest, leveling, genkai, AF etc...)

It has always been a dream of mine to be a part of a static group in FFXI, but my dreams were never realized due to time restraints and utter linkshell apathy. If you are interested, please contact me or leave a post with any information you deem relevant. If enough people decide to take up this challenge, we will begin arranging time zone schedules, jobs/roles, and other information.

I'd love to ^^ I just got back myself, but i reactivated my old account (luckily the phone service was instant as soon as I rang up, and I was back in, in no time :D).

The highest i have is a 37 whm atm, but I wanted to lvl my lower job lvls too =) And I'd love to have a linkshell with friends ^_^

I'm in australia, so at the time i was typing this - its 3:30pm, but I can work around the time dif i think =)

Heading out now to grab the new expansion :D bbs!

I started in late november 2007 (when wotg first came out) and I didn't have too much trouble leveling, you just gotta be paitent.

And really if you aren't paitent enough to wait for parties I honestly doubt you have any paitence for the other parts of this game. I've gotten almost 4 jobs through the Dunes and I don't remember terribly long wait times. Heck I even got through as a BLACK mage and almost got through as a thief. the two jobs that never get invites!

that is how i got my pup to 75.

I also am lving summoner. I was lv 25 about 1-2 weeks ago i just hit lv 53 today.

I appreciate the replies you guys... but I am beginning to think that some of you are misconstruing the "objective" of my post. It is as if some of you are implying that I am unwilling and indolent in wanting to return to Vanadiel by my lonesome.

And really if you aren't paitent enough to wait for parties I honestly doubt you have any paitence for the other parts of this game.

I think some of you should revisit your posts and consider that this is a RETURNING PLAYERS thread. I am totally aware of the LFG process, the time, and dedication this game takes. This is why I have attempted to do some research pertaining to the current state of the game; and have drawn such conclusions. (wanting to organize ahead of time, but I digress...)

once again... If you are interested in organizing a group (hopefully static) ahead of time, before beginning on a server. If you are wanting to try something invigorating; that is...creating a group to endure the game with OUTSIDE Vanadiel first. Please feel free to post, or contact me.

This actually not a bad idea. I however currently have 2 statics... but static's usually are built after you meet people with exceptional skill in their jobs. GL though.

I'm very interested in Static. I joined my old server Valefor several weeks ago and got a few mid jobs, but nothing special. I'm starting a static with a new friend of BRD and COR. If you were to catch up (only around 15) we'd welcome you. Sorry but if I'd of seen this thread one month ago I'd of done this 1-75.
