So I want to come back after playing WoW for a long time. I hated wow so much but all of my friends played it so I went along with it. I want to come back to FFXI which is one of my favorite games. I'm coming back alone and I need somewhere to go. I have a character still so i'm stuck on that server right? I'd like to find a good linkshell on an active server... even if that means I have to start over.

You can now transfer your character to another server, though it costs extra RL money to do so and you can only do it every 90 days.

Which server were you originally on? You may find some people here from that server who will be glad to take you under their wing.

I'm on Seraph... I'll pay money to transfer though if I can get into an active linkshell.

You will find active linkshells all over, but you have to be slightly proactive to find one. Join a party, if you find a good nice active guy in there ask about their lnikshell.

You can't realy get by with freebie LP's being thrown at you as only new leaders do that and they allmost allways fail.

You could try looking up the limit break radio LS on the server to try to make somee arley off friends as they are allways nice and have a LS on every server (Though odin is their #1)
