Starting FFXI today! (Again)

Hey everyone!

I'm going to start playing FFXI today! I haven't played this game in a good 2 years when I used to have a level 35 warrior. I really need a good community to keep me motivated in this game so if there are any linkshells out there that could help me out I would be more than grateful! I'm looking for a strong english speaking community LS as I'm from the UK. I don't mind which server.. Anyone here up for it?

Try Hades server. Im a new player and i got invited to a LinkShell named AngelKnights. The leader is Apathy they are a good bunch of people :D

do i need a world pass for hades server. I am a returning player from quez. I had a lv 70 smn.

You do need a world pass if you plan on getting on a particular server. You will need to start over again if you do.

No you don't.

You can choose any server you want without needing a World Pass.
They still DO have the Gold World Pass though, for the extra benefits.

Yeh thats cool! Hmmm... So what server? The bigger the community the better lol. When I used to play I just used to level and didnt find it fun. Well I did find FFXI fun since It was the first MMORPG I ever played.

Yeh ok mate. My FFXI I just installing atm. I have the 2007 Edition. All 3 expansions on one DVD. Will take a while. I'd say I will will be online in an hour or depending on the patch.

on my old char i had puppet master at lv 28 i was out dmging all dds was doing sick dmg
