Coming back to the game, a few questions

Hey im seriously thinking about returning to the game after 2 years of not playing. i recently attempted to come back during october of last year, thankfully my lvl 66 redmage was still around but i gave up after a few weeks since i was already deep into the endgame of wow. ive quit wow a few months ago and the new treasures of aht urgan expansion is getting me excited about playing ffxi again.

just two quick questions tho...is there a decent offline macro editor i can dled? i remember one a while back in october i tried to use it but cant remember for the life of me what the name was.
and also did square finally support a windowed version of the game?

Don't know about the macro-thingie, but there's not a windowed version yet. I'm told it will come eventually, though.

going to get treasure of aht urgan over the weekend and im back in action
cant wait for the windower i dont like full screen mode too much.
now to familiarize myself with the nightmare of macros again..>.>

Ah, macros are a big enough part of this game to know most of em for the type of way you play.

Where in the world did you hear an official windower was coming sometime in april? I'd like to see that.

There are macro editing programs, but i'll wait until a mod says if they're allowed or not. I imagine since pebbles has posted here before they probably are, but i'll wait.
