To late to come back?

Quit a couple months ago, deleted my character and all that but I thought about it and I just couldn't stay quit. Also, my deleted character, anyway to recover? It would be nice, but if I can't I'd like to start anew and remember what made me love this game in the first place. Oh yeah, I'd also like to start again as a Ninja, if that's become any cheaper?

if it's past 3 months, there's no way to restore a deleted character unless you wait for the return to vanadiel campaign.

Just two and a half!!! But I actually deleted (like... clicked delete) my character, so I could call and get it back?

Maybe you can call S-E ustomer service and ask them? The phone number and office hour should be in the menu booklet.

yes, you can get the character restored (but only once). you have to call SE and provide them with info like pol id, character, server and a bunch of other stuff.

Yeah, best bet would be to contact S-E customer service. I kinda doubt they will bring it back since you actually deleted it on your own though. So unless you want to wait for a return to vana'diel campaign, start a new toon.

Good luck to you, and {Welcome back!}. I also "quit", then came back after about 3 months. I did not make an effort to revive my old character, however. I did not want to slide back into the same old grind that I got tired of when I left, so I just bought the game again and started over on a new server - and I love it! It is great to be back in Vana'diel.

I can't even count the number of times I've quit and returned... the first time I quit I lost a 75 drg... didn't really bother me though because now I'm on a better server in the best LS in Vana'diel!

I have "quit" too many times. Not to mention the times that I got tired of a character and restarted. Seriously, it's a disease.

If you really want your old character back, there is always the off-chance that SE will restore it for you. But if you don't care about the particular character, and just want to play FFXI again, then just buy a new content ID and start playing again. Ridiculously easy.^^
