Hello all,

It's been a long time since I've posted on these boards and I'm glad to say I'm back. I'm not well known at all, I just enjoy these forums, as well as FFXI.

To the point: I will be returning to FFXI within a number of days. This is in the hopes that my 52 BLM, 47 THF is still there -- according to topics claiming a year lee-way before deletion I should be in the clear.

My question: after hearing about all the news, RMT getting banned left and right (El Bano! El Bano!) prices dropping, and the New Expansions and Contents being put to full use: are there enough people on the servers to further low level leveling? As in from 10-50?

I left the game due to school reasons, and wanted no interferences in my life, and I do want to come back, but I'm afraid that I wont be able to level some jobs due to the fact that people are now dead-set on the expansions and stuff to do at LV65+.

Am i worrying over nothing? What is the real situation.

I have been able to get all my 1-30 pt's pretty easily. The 30-50 block has been kinda hard for me(even as BRD) though. I dunno if we can answer this well. It would depend on the server trends

This bothers me a bit, reasonably. Wish there was a concrete answer to the question, but since none of us are going to develop psychic skills and be able to tell us whether people are going to low level accounts again, is there any way perhaps to look at the past couple months trends (i've been gone a while) and look it from that perspective?

There will always be people leveling low level jobs, it's part of the leveling process. You'll want to familiarize yourself with your server's peak times so you don't waste a lot of time hanging around.

Also, you're a Blm and a Thf, definately not two of the more in-demand jobs at the moment. Black Mages can't participate in TP-burn parties, and Thieves require too much coordination for the average TP-burn party.

I have never had a problem leveling to 37 on any of the jobs I've taken there. Past 37 is always slower because (obviously) people who were only leveling a job for a subjob don't go past. Every time I've leveled lower jobs I've partied with people that are doing those levels for the first time.

Now that said, there are and will be times that you don't get a party the night you wanted to, and that can last for a little bit, but that happens all the time with all jobs at all levels.

Yeah, some have told me I've picked the hardest from the litter.

For BLM..well, I started leveling it back when Prices were crazy in the hopes of getting to 70+ to make "omggils." Unfortunately I became somewhat bored with it.

THF really is my passion. Not trying to make myself sound astounding, but Im a pretty darn good THF. I know how to do my job, and when I'm not sure, I spend time researching and searching on the forums.

Hopefully I'll be able to continue my journey with THF.

Which brings me back to the money problem, heh. Hopefully I'll manage to find some type of niche on which to make money on.
