Hay Guyz, Wuts Goin on in dis MMO?

Well, i've been playing eve online the past month or so, and i've barely been on FFXI at all (Feba, not playing FFXI? I know, i'm shocked myself) in the past two or three, so just wondering if anything interesting has happened. Reading the news, sounds like some fun updates coming up- which don't effect me much at all.

Haven't really decided if I want to come back or not, just curious if i've missed much.

Nice to see ya again Feba ^^ In all honesty, I haven't been on much either (they love to pile it on sophomores...) but I do know that SE has deleted a few more 3rd party users' accounts, released some of the changes they are going to do to a few of the jobs (and more to come in the future), and there are some videos on YouTube with people battling Shantotto, Curilla, Prishe, and Ayame at the VanaFesta (you may have been here for that though).

Well, it pretty much bogs down to the fact that just about every other job is getting revamped and blms are getting lowered down once again. I would sure hope your blm isn't isn't in the 65-75 range.

Nope, didn't know about VanaFesta, but i'll look for those videos, 'sounds like a good time!'

My BLM is 61, Mog, what changes are they making to it? After 61 years of casting Bio I realized I hated that job, started leveling WAR, but I still use it from time to time.

Well, SE just implemented a tp-burn update, so BLM's are even less needed in xp parties because melee fighters can just tp-burn for much faster exp.

Funny, I didn't see that in the update information.

- SAM getting offensive and defensive ability (which places a recast penalty on ninjutsu)
- /SAM's new abilties grant these bonuses to other jobs using two-handed weapons. (meaning for a GA WAR, they have to give up /NIN to benefit from this)
- DRG getting recast on Super Jump lowered to three mins (again, saying, stop going /NIN, you putz)
- RNG's "sweet spots" get a little more leeway and gear, food and subjob are now a bigger factor in the ranged attack and ranged accuracy formula.
- SMN's get two separate blood pacts for attack and support (bitch healer no more?)

Nowhere was there "burn the BLMs" in there.

There is a slump for BLMs right now and it largely due to two factors (1) ToA mobs being incredibly physically weak and (2) Sanction EXP bonus, fueling the TP Burn trend.

But then, BLMs did have it good for RoZ and CoP content. However, considering the lack of skillchains and magic bursts lately, melees do need a kick in the ass again.

Come on Omg, you know this was a stab at blms XD. It's considered part of the update, because of the mobs stupide physical weakness. ><

I couldn't ever play EVE for more than a few days without becoming extremely bored. There really wasn't much in the way of diverse content. Apparently is was an RPer's paradise though.

eve is alot like ffxi in the sense that you either love it or hate it. There's a lot of stuff to do, although most people confine themselves to fighting. Personally, I enjoy the skill system, as it gives a freedom the EXP system does not, and I have horrible luck with PTs

i took my break (from FFXI) in CoH and recently came back

they added chocobo raising since you left and they're about to update SAM, RNG and SMNs (which sound like nice changes btw)

Well, I was around for that. I have a fully grown chocobo, it's just starving and hates me. It actually looks kinda like a dying cat now.

I only visit 4ailchan to troll /v/ and flood /b/ with Loli. 7chan has been my new home since /b/ day. Also, rule 41, cake, etc.
