Returning After 2 years, Can log on POL

i have decided to return back to the game after recent updates.
i've been able to log back on using my playonline ID, updated all my current address.

i can't seem to reactive my old account. i would like my old character back if possible.
i have heard it's possible to get your content id, it this true? even after two years?
thats one of the reason i wanted to come back. my friend told me he was able to get his old account back after a year. thought it was after 3 months they would delete your account and you won't be able to come back.

so do you think i have any chance of getting my account reactived?

If you've still got your PlayOnline ID, you may need to wait until the next Return to Vana'diel campaign to recover your deleted character(s) (usually starts around February if I recall). Square-Enix does the program once a year to help people who have been gone from the game a long time and had their characters deleted due to inactivity.

You'd have to wait for the "Return to Vanadiel" program, which starts in the Spring, if I recall right. I believe that works up to 2 years. If your account is older than 2 years though.....don't count on getting him back.
