Thinking of returning

Hiya,

I was a elvaan RDM on shiva server who quit about a year and a half ago at 73 named osimate, hi to all who might remember me>.<. Well I'm thinking of starting a new character on another server to experience the expansion, but I have a few questions. I hope someone doesn't mind answering them.

How big has the dropoff in players been in the last 2 years? I have seen a few publications mention the game feels empty when doing a review of the new expansion. I hope that's not the case.

How hard are the 3 new jobs to get?

Also, what servers would you recomend?

TUUUUUUURN BAAAAAACK BEFORE IT'S TOOOOOOO LAAAAAAAAATE! Save yourself!

Seriously though, the game population is about the same. There is still a fair mix of NA, EU and JP players. There have been a lot of folks returning in light of the recent exansion and 360 Launch, but for the most part, there haven't been any crazy population booms.

I don't know anything about Shiva, but from what I've seen of other servers, most are pretty ok. Bahamut is rather nice (It's my server), with moderate prices, and a fair number of folks on at any given time.

Ah, great to hear. I was a bit worried it would be hard to lv up without a big population. I'll check out your server. I plan on coming back during the christmas break from college^^.
