    Ok, so I opted to plunge ahead and give it another go(If I had half a brain I wouldn't of quit the first time around). So, I had to pick up another copy of the game due to the fact that my original copy turned out to be one of the few../cough...many, that had glitches, issues, buggy coding, you name it(Disk 2). So I install PoL, and update the files, it tells me to key in the info for player name, ect, ect. That works, or so I think. I try to log into PoL, but then more puzzling questions hit me than I care to risk screwing up my character(s) to guess at.

    1. I don't remember my password...great, now what do I do? Guess at them?

    2. I can't recall if the "Character Name" is the right one, or if it's another.

    3. If I bought a new game, do I have to use the new PoL Registration code that
    goes along w/it?

    4. I talked w/a CSR rep several months back who assured me, my characters/equipment were still there, what if I try reactivating w/a new game, use the old name, or a new one by mistake, and screw something up?

    5. The more I key, the more questions pop into my head that lead me to believe I'd be best waiting till I can contact someone directly as before and see if they can't walk me thru.


    /Sigh....this was one of the biggest headache's about this game for me back when it first released. They(SoE), tried to make thing's all fancy and throw "class" into just logging in, or starting a character...

    Anyway, if anyone has some knowledgeable comments about any of the above, please, by all means, share your thoughts. I tend to let my imagination get the best of me over the simplest of circumstances.

    Well, by either a stroke of pure geniuse, or a slap in the head from God, I remembered my passwords, and was able to sign into PoL, now however, when I hit the "Reactivate Content ID", I get a message saying I don't have any! I'm hoping this is where that Return to Vana'diel thing come's in, if not....I'm gonna be none too happy.

    Having a funeral for a lvl71 WHM =(. Apperently, you have to "cancel" the game the "correct" way, or your screwed in coming back to play. Severely irritated, but oh well. /sigh...the journey begins anew.

      Well done on remembering those passwords, it's always a pain..

      Your best bet is to update your payment information, even if it says the same thing as you did last time.. seems to get the process moving. I have had a couple of breaks, and every time I sign up anew I re-enter my payment info, even though it's on file just to be sure. I haven't had any problems, though my biggest break was only a little over 3 months.
