How long before characters become mothballed ?

Hello !

Except for one time about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I have not logged into POL since the middle of February. I have not played FFXI since the middle of February. I have not deleted my POL ID, or cancelled my account there, and I have paid all fees since then. My question is, will I be able to pick up where I left off after - oh - 3 months of inactivity ? Or do they even care, just as long as they get their money paid to an active POL ID ?

if you canceled the content ids (read: stop paying), you have about a year before they are "deleted." if you kept paying, it doesn't matter how long they have been "inactive."

Cool ! So since I kept paying, that means I can just get the latest expansion and log in as normal ! Thank you so much for the quick reply. I am looking forward to both the expansion and the lower AH prices.... will be up and running in the next week or so
