After taking a break from Vana'diel for some years, I'm interested in seeing what's changed, and if it's worthwhile to venture forth once again. Given the difficulties (and insane costs) involved in getting a Starter Pack down here in Oz, I'd really appreciate a buddy pass so I can download and take a look around. Thanks!

If there are any other buddy pass people who want to party up, as I've heard gaining some of the higher levels (lvl 10+) requires a party, then feel free to PM me on here to do so. : )

I now no longer need a buddy as I have FINALLY been able to find a seller that actually has the Vana'diel '07 collection in stock and won't take weeks to get to me! :D

Though my offer of forming a party for any newcomers (depending on the server) is still open!

Btw, if your in the UK looking for the game with all 3 expansions like a I was check Chipsworld, they had it on their site for £20.

I have a buddy pass floating around - possibly two if anyone needs it, all I ask is if you do want to use it and are interested in the Quetz. server let me get a gold world pass for you for neat items :D if you dont start on that server no harm- no foul~ just PM me

I thought a Gold World Pass allowed you to invite a friend from one server to yours to get free items? So your friend would HAVE to start on a different server to you for it to work.

edit: Hmm... May join the Quetzalcoatl server now... ; )

A Gold World Pass works at character creation. It doesn't transfer a character from one server to another.

I assume they were used when you couldn't select which server you joined, right?

Ahhh that's the old world pass, you can now freely select where you want to go The Gold World Pass is just for neat little items and to help level with a friend

I knew about the free choice of selecting your server since I read about it on here. So the GWP got modified........ No wonder I was so confused about this lol.

Hello I played FF11 when it first came out for around 6 months, but then I decided to cancel due to economic reasons. Now I feel I'm more able to play again and have been toying with the concept of starting again for some time, the only problem is, while I own the full box with CDs and registration included my PlayOnline ID was lost somewhere.

I Don't mind starting over character-wise as I was only around level-20 but I would like to request a Buddy pass if anyone out there has an extra one, this way at least I could get a new playonline ID and not have to re-purchase the software.
