Hello everyone =)

I used to play FFXI way back when it first came out in North America, but I was forced to quit soon after due to some real life emergency issues. My request is that I would really like to see how the game is seeing as how I really don't remember much because I didn't play for too long. I've always loved Final Fantasy games, but as a college student I can't just throw my money around every-which way. I want to be quite sure that I want to play this game before I spend 20-30 dollars on it and 13+ per month after that.

If anyone would be kind enough to let me have a buddy pass and try this game, I promise that if I do end up purchasing the game, I will make sure to post the buddy code I get from the package in here so that others can test it, as well.

Anyone have a spare buddy pass i could use? I have been playing the final fantasy series since way back on the NES (i do seem young for that but tis true) and ive been dying to try this game out for a long while now *edit* cant have email address in here so i guess send a pm to me here on the forums

Check Best Buy. The one near me had about 10 of the latest Vana'diel collection CDs. I would assume they would have the starter pack, as well.

Just like everyone else in this thread, I am looking for a buddy pass for FFXI. I cannot offer much in regards to trade, save for the following four items:

Hi ive always wanted to try ffxi but ive never wanted to put the money out afraid i would not like it if anyone would be willing to lend me a buddy key i will send you one back if i decide to buy the game and pm me scince it would not let me post my email.

I as well, like many other in this thread, are dying to play FFXI again. Around the time of launch, I played for a while, and thought the game was great but unfortunately was lacking the time essential to be successful in an MMORPG. I now have this time, and I'd love to try and give the game a shot again, as I remember the community being helpful and the gameplay fantastic. If anyone could spare a buddy pass, I'd be eternally greatful. My e-mail is (it seems I cannot post it, I will give it in a pm if anyone can send me a pass). Thank you.

I'd like to get a buddy pass... Watching the GameTrailers retrospective piqued my interest.

Me and a friend of mine also got really interested in the game after seeing the gametrailers retrospective.

I'd really like to get a buddy pass too, since I'm already playing an MMO I want to try the game before buying it.
I can offer a wow/bc buddy pass in exchange if that's wanted.

I don't feel like giving out my mail in public like this but a Private Message works perfect =)
