I have a question about the buddy passes... A friend of mine recently bought the game on xbox 360, and we found that he can get up to 5? buddy passes but he has to buy them for gil ingame. Does anyone know WHERE he gets them in or closest to Bastok? he has been searching for a while but he cant find the npc for it anywhere.

I think you might have buddy passes confused with world passes. The buddy pass (iirc) comes with the game itself on a little card insert. Give that to a friend, they download the game, play... albeit without any expansions. World passes (now defunct), were used when you wanted a new player (or character) to start on your server with you. Now, you can choose which server to play on when you create a character.

Maybe I'm being pessimistic, but no one around here even has a buddy pass to give you and this whole thread is pointless. Stop wasting your time begging in online message boards and just drop the 20 bux to play the game. You'll like, I promise.

you just might be right about that.... well if thats so then... should one have come with his xbox 360 copy of the game?

edit: well we found out.... he does not get a buddy pass for 360 so i guess its down to this.... Does anyone happen to still have a buddy pass? XD

Most of you don't even remember me, but this time I'm back with motivation! >:3
Former WoW/Mabinogi/Monster Hunter Frontier player here. I've got a gamepad and an already updated POL Viewer (+ FFXI client, of course), now what's left is a buddy pass to get started. Thanks to whoever reads this and is kind enough (and just so happens to have one) to give me a buddy pass!
