Hello FFXI community! I'm on a campaign to find the perfect MMO for me. So far I've not been successful which is why I am here. While hunting I kept seeing this game over and over and over again, so I started looking into the game and how would I go about getting a trial.
I was told on the MMORPG.COM forums that you could either purchase the starter pack or find someone who had a buddy key. Ok I thought 2 bucks isn't that much to trial a game, so off to EB games I go. So I come here to beg if anyone might be kind enough to help me out with a buddy key.

Um.. Sadly, the World Pass isn't happening anymore. Only Gold ones, if that's what you mean.. Where you get items for staying a certain amount of days, etc.

Or Buddy Pass, as in from the game packaging, with the code that's in there?

Hi,

A friend of mine have been trying hard to convince me to try out FFXI, saying that its got a unique experience to it that no other game has. Unfortunately, my friend gave his buddy pass away years back. I have pretty much exhausted Lineage II, another mmo, and feel its time to get into another game. Another thing I am looking forward to is interacting with Japanese players, I am from Japan, so it seems interesting to be able to talk with them and go through the language barrier. (Rather than SE's translations system)

If anybody can send me a buddy pass at (kakouton@gmail.com), I would be eternally grateful! (Or close)

I tried, I really did. I checked with every store I could think of in this small country of mine, I asked around and got nothing, I told myself fine, I'll go to Amazon UK only to find out they still don't ship video games to this country.
I would really like to experience the game once more after the four year hiatus and I would be very grateful, if I could get a Buddy Pass. I can't really offer much in return except my gratitude and a promise that were I to get a Pass, I would use it to its full extent.

Played this game for like 2 years but haven't touched it now for probably 5. The past few days I've just randomly started thinking about it again. I really wanted to give it another try. Can anyone help me out?

Hello, i'm looking for a buddy pass. I've looked at this game for a while, and i've been hoping for a free trial, but no such luck, so i'm hoping to find someone nice enough that can pass along an extra buddy code. I have a City of heroes, and Vanguard trial key that i can trade, and cant think of anything else, but if anything comes to mind, let me know

Hi!

I'm requesting a pass so I can field the waters of the game, I did play until the first expansion came out (from launch).. Managed to get a RDM up to 62, then got stuck when the expansion came out, because it wasn't sold in my area, couldn't go to the beaches (forget the name). So I slowly stopped playing and have since forgotten my login and password. I played it on the ps2 with a keyboard and controller.

Anyway to summarize, I am requesting a buddy pass so that I can play a bit before I order the collection through the mail (For pc).

First post here, if I do get back into the game it surely will not be my last.
