How to reactive Content ID ?

I left the server same month last year. 2004. I am planning to return to the server to check stuff out, but when i got the game installed and everything, i found out i don't have the option in reactivate content ID.

Do i need to register for a new content ID and will my character remain there ? Or is there more specific things i have to do ?

Considering Square has "upped" the termination date on their previous 3 month time slot to reactivate your account, to now 12 month time slot to reactivate your account, and taking into consideration you quit 12 months ago, this could be why your not receiving the option to reactivate. Give em a call and see what they can do for you. Otherwise, say hello to lvl1 again ; ; Sorry man

Make sure you have your credit info that you used a yr ago too.

They seriously deleted my content ID, i am not going to play a lvl 1 character all again, considering i have so much end gear items and lvl 75 and a lvl 61.

TSR-john however suggests i send e-mail to them to ask for them to bring back character recovery, i don't see that will ever happen.

Bleh, even Asheron's call still have my character data for 7 year, ffxi can;t even have it for 12 months, i don't see the point of playing it anymore.

It's Square's own greediness that's shooting them in the foot right now. They would probably have lots of returning players who are bored with World of Warcraft right now, but as they deleted all their characters not many of them will be coming back.
