    Error Message 412ab4 on Ps3

    Im playing the Vana'Diel Collection on the PS3 and worked fine until I kept getting stuck in an add-on- 'A Crystalline Prophecy' cutscene and an error message appears and says please reset console with a number code: 412ab4. I have reset the console and started playing and it starts the cutscene over again and I still get the same error message. What am I doing wrong?

    What an odd error code. Most of the error codes I have seen for the PS3 have been in the 800's.

    Ok, you do have a backwards compatible PS3 right? That would be my very first question to anyone having an issue installing the PS2 version of FFXI on a PS3.

      yes, the PS3 is BC and i have been playing the game for a month now on the same PS3

        Well, I did some searching online after posting and I can't even find that error message. I went to some tech sites too and nada. So I would call SE's Customer Service on Monday (not open on the weekends) and give them the code and see what they say. Most of the Playstations error codes are the 800 series and this is not so that makes me think that this is a software issue and that would be SE.
