  • PS2 controller won't work without vibration turned on (PC version)

    Hi,

This is a really weird problem. I can play the game just fine with vibration function turned on. But once I turn it off in the config, my controller just doesn't work in-game anymore. When I'm in the config panel and I try to test the controller, everything seems to be working.

I did a file check to see if anything was wrong there, but everything is fine.

I'm not sure where the problem lies. I know you may think, well, just play with vibration. But there's another issue I have with the game I'm trying to figure out if it's caused by the vibration function.

    Thank you!

Do you have the drivers installed for the PS2 to USB adapter? I never had this issue when I played.

Yep the latest drivers are installed for the adapter I use.

Also, as I said, when I'm testing the controller in the FFXI config panel without vibration, everything registers properly, which I think wouldn't be a problem with the controller / adapter :\ I'll have to test it with other games later.
