POL viewer crashes after hitting "send/recieve mail"

When I log onto playonline, it says that I have x emails (anywhere from 4-15) but when I hit "send/recieve mail" my viewer crashes. When I log back on, it says I have 0 new emails.

I'm running the steam version on windows vista 62bit.

Is anyone else having this problem/ know how to fix it?

Try running file check?
