anyone else havign problems with Final Fantasy 11

Is anyone else having problems getting final fantasy 11 to work for them for some reason mine keeps saying unreadable when the back is not scratched up at all and is perfectly fine.

I am at work and cannot speak to whether mine is working or not. However I would recommend you provide more information. What system are you attempting to play on PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox360..? What disc are you trying to use?

unless it's an instalation problem I'd suggest it would be a console as ffxi doesnt require the disc to be in the drive whilst playing on a pc.

its for X box 360 and its the final fantasy 11 ultimate collection version i just got it two days ago and it was working on the console fine even though i had registration problems but when i put it in my console today it worked this morning but when i waited a little bit to contact square enix to find out why the registration didn't seem to work and still didn't work this morning. it started saying unable to read disc though it has no scratches or anything on the back of it but what is funny is all my other x box 360 games i have tried work fine it just seems to be final fantasy 11 that my console quit reading all of a sudden.

It sucks for alot of ppl that only have the option of playing this on 360 but i know this problem. you probably didn't shut down properly or something but even if thats not the case heres what you do. before you hit play playonline viewer. have your 360 play music from any source. (comp/hard drive/mp3 player) that will let you start it up for some reason.

also if you do besieged show up 30 mins late or you will lock up then GTFO of al zhabi. idk why they made this such a bad port but ill just have to deal until i get a comp or ps3 to play it on. alot of nis america games are on ps3 so that might justify getting one...

thanks a lot i will try that and see if it works so i can give square enix a call because that's not the only problem i have suffered after just getting it two days ago i have been having registration problem and play online setup problems and still am but i will try what you suggest to fix it where my x box will read it again then try to work on fixing the other problem i am having and also thanks for the heads up on besieged my guess it its a quest in the game though not sure yet.

That's a pretty common 360 problem. Always exit from the game by logging out completely, including POL. (or use the "Shut Down" item from the game menu) Do NOT just power down the system, do NOT use the 360's way of exiting to the dashboard.
