OK so I downloaded the steam version of FFXI. I boot up the game, and it doesn't ask for security token or SE password and just straight up logs into my account. There's no option for either of these, and the client skips the update check. Normally I wouldn't care, but since there seems to be a security issue w/ the passwords not existing, I keep getting POL-5312 so I'm unable to start up FFXI. I've tried deleting and redownloading it, but no success. Also know this was after a reinstall because during file check for FFXI, it was getting stuck at 55.dat.

Have you ever solved this issue or can anyone help? I have just downloaded FFXI through steam and am getting the same error
It downloads and installs an older version of PlayOnline and never asks for the SE ID and PW causing log-in errors
