Avatar's look bad, what do I do?

On my other computer(which is 5 years old) they look awesome, but on this computer they look awful. What do I do? I've been looking around but I can't find anybody else with a similar problem.



The image was saved wrong and it lost some quality, but everything else looks great aside from the avatars.

Specs are
Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9000 @2.00GHz
6.00 GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4870 X2

Have you tried upping the resolution?

Yeah, it's 2048x2048 background and I've tried the screen resolution, but it doesn't fix it either.

problem is the avatar glow. Don't remember what the problem was, used to be fairly common, I would guess drivers. Hopefully that will help you google it out at least.

up to date != always best. See if POL recommends specific drivers for your card, or if other players with this problem do.
