Hey im having a spot of trouble with playing the FFXI Trial Version. I left my PC to update to the latest version over night have have recently woken up to play some of this great game however im getting errors.
I start to launch FFXI from POL which causes an installation box to appear saying that a resource is unavailable and i must locate PlayOnline Viewer Tetra Master.msi. When i cancel i receive a message saying
"Error 1706: No valid source could be found for product PlayOnline Viewer & Tetra Master. The Windows Installed cannor continue"
and then will load back into the POL account and let me try again. Any suggestions on what is wrong?
Edit: I am currently uninstalling POL in hopes that FFXI and all its updates aren't deleted. Ill update and then hopefully it will be good to go. I have found this on a previous forum here: http://vnboards.ign.com/ffxi_tech_su...47/73156497/p2 the article wont fix it for me though. Also reinstalling POL has not worked.
