Uhhhh, Glitch, or maat cheating?

So... I did the maat fight today. Sleep till 100 Tp, then run up to him, 2 hour, and soul eater. That worked fine, but when I did do the guillotine, I lost health, and I was unable to gain it back with the Blood weapon. And I did not notice this, so I used an incarus wing after stunning him with the Weapon Bash, and used Guillotine again, and once again, same thing, lost health, and gained none. I was down to about 300 Hp, and I was able to hit him with my weapon after both strikes, and able to gain hp, but due to having so little hp, because of this glitch, I was unable to take him down. In the end, he beat me, and he was back up to completely full health.

Any other Drks have this happen?

And now... I need to try and fidn the testimony all over again, and buy another iccarus wing...Ugh....

Blood Weapon is an added effect, it's not gonna proc on your WS.

Then why have I gained life while using the blood weapon +WS...

And if so... then how the hell do you win?

It may proc on regular WS hits, but Guillotine has an add effect of it's own, Silence. Add effects will not stack, and I would be willing to bet that a WS effect will take precedence over any other add effects.

He'd have done it if he did salvage. The old geezer doesn't have time to waste farming up all of the pieces that he needs for all of his 75s...
