Error Code: FFXI-3101

Transmission error with lobby server.

I had quite a while ago, and decided to log on to see if anyone of my friends still play, and I wanted to talk to them once again. How ever, I did log in once today after I installed, and updated the game. I logged out to change characters for a second, but the screen just went black, and did nothing. Now... When I try to play the game, I keep getting this error. Anyone else have this error.

I did update my video card, I have tried resetting, removing my fire wall for a bit, disabling my anti virus soft ware... Anyone else having this issue?

Yup. Checked POL a bit ago. All worlds are having log in issues.

Ok, so it isn't just me then. I am on the support page, trying to find more information about it, and searching the web. I found out this happened in 2004, and 2006 as well, and heard it was the video card.

Hopefully it will be resolved soon, and I can talk to my friends once again. And hopefully beat maat on rdm, which I have yet to do.

Just got booted from Midgard here. My friend couldn't log in earlier and sent me a message via POL so I think about an hour before maintenance they put in something to keep people from logging in, kinda pre-emptively clear out the server.

But, when I did a log out (Log out, not shut down) to change characters, the screen just went black. I don't see why it would have anything to do with that? Theres also no message about their being maintenance... Never had it happen before. Is there supposed to be maintenance.

Dammnit! Never mind... I just found out there is actually maintenance... Why is it every time I try to talk to my friends in game, I get issues with maintenance... So damn frustrating.
