    Activate Key

    Not sure if this belongs here or elsewhere, but I was wondering how I activate a second key for the game on the same account.

    My account was started last year with the 2008 Vana'diel Collection. When I decided to return, I bought the Ultimate Collection (both are for the XBox 360 since that's what I play this on) so I'd have most of the recent patches and content, but I decided to use my old account and IDs. So I installed the game to my 360 from the Ultimate Collection disc, but I never used the activation key since I already had an account.

    Is there a place I can activate the Ultimate Collection key, so I can get the content from the disc without making another account?

    Not sure I'm understanding what you are saying, so let me summarize what I do understand. You used to play but stopped. You uninstalled the game from your 360. Now you want to play again so you bought the Ultimate Collection so you wouldn't have so many updates. You've installed the game to your 360 using your previous log in information. Now you have an unused registration code.

    Ok, what I do not understand is the "so I can get the content from the disc" comment. You do not need the registration code since you already registered, as long as you are using your old account. If you are starting from scratch then you will need the code, but from your post I'm assuming this is not what you are doing.

      I figured it out, I had to go to the Content ID section of PlayOnline when I'm logged in, then choose Register Optional Content or whatever.

      Basically my issue was that my old account and the 2008 collection doesn't have the three newest additions, such as Shantoto's (man I know I completely butchered the name) Ascension and the two prior to that, but my Ultimate Collection disc has those included. I was trying to find where to use my registration key to activate those three expansions, even though I'm not even close to being able to do them.

      I know, my question was simple but I worded it ridiculously complicated. Thanks for all the help though, I do appreciate it. I love these forums. I know I've probably been annoying people with all my newbie questions, but I've appreciated the answers.
