Trying to be sure there isn't a better solution

When I get into a busy area in campaign or beseiged my game will DC and I get this error:

"Display Driver igfx stopped working"

Everything I can find says I need to uninstall my driver and install an older one.

I have a Windows Vista OS on a Gateway Laptop I use. Here are the links of the posts:

Have you tried disabling weather effects/etc? It might be causing a bit of stress on your system.
