xbox360 version resolution? any way to make it like ps2 version for sdtvs 4:3??

I have SDTV and I have no interest buying a new TV, but the way xbox360 displays things, the text is smaller than I'm used to.
I wonder if there is a way to make FFXI appear like it does on the PS2 version?
