I copied my user file like I was suppose to so I could save my macros. Cut and pasted it into the proper place and when I went in the game and tried to check and see if my macros were all there and no macros at all were there. Is there a way to to retrieve the macros because I tried to load then and it wouldn't load anything at all. I do have the entired user file so I'm not understanding why my macros aren't there. It took me 3 hrs last time to redo them all I don't need to do that I hope.

Re: Macro retrieval issue
Don't know what to tell you then. I don't know the specifics on which file is which in the POL folders because they are confusing. That's why I pre-planned when I last re-formatted (liek 3 weeks ago) and avoided the issue altogether.
Maybe someone else knows.

Re: Macro retrieval issue
Question about retrieving macros. Does retrieving the macros overwrite the macros I may already have in place?
I play on the PC and PS3 and while the PC has my MAIN macro sets, the PS3 has a few I made on the fly for quick use. I don't mind losing those, I just want to make sure I don't run into any issue where I expect one set and have another. ^.^`

Re: Macro retrieval issue
funny thing about that really
delete the user folder, and log in the game fully, then log back out, THEN replace the user folder with your old one, then it should work-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Re: Macro retrieval issue
shift+ctrl+alt+b = no such abilities for me /huh?
shift+ctrl+alt+r = brings up the tell window...
does this work for the pc? I really hate remaking macros from scratch.
Then again, i don't have expansions installed yet, might be the reason...

There is no rush. If you're not willing to take your time, don't be surprised when no one wants to give you much of theirs.

I have two PS2 setups, one stays at home and the other is portable, and I use the server storage to keep my macros and map labels synchronized. There's no other way, as PS2 users can't just dip into subdirectories and copy things to another hard drive.Elwynn @ Fairy Elwynbelwyn @ Sylph | PS2 PC
