GUYS i need help FAST cant uninstall

i quit 3 years ago, i uninstalled the game well..thats what i tho, i bought the game again and tried to install it but it says an older version is installed in my computer, when i go to my Add/remove program and try to uninstall that older version i get this error:

Error 1316.A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file : C:/WINDOWS/Installer/PlayOnline Viewer and Tetra Master.msi.


how do i fix this ?

need serious help over here

also i tried to search for the files to delete them manually but i cant find anything related

Guys i fixed it, for those who have the same problem as me use this to uninstall playonline.

Make sure u choose playonline and not "Select All" or your going to have big problems.

Maybe try to rename the folder (but be sure to keep it as a backup), it might trick the computer into thinking you uninstalled it.

Chances are that you have stray registry entries, not files.

you can delete the game's registry manually. Do a run > regedit. Edit > find > FINAL or something. Delete anything FFXI related that shows up. Then delete the game's folder manually.
