I'm trying to return from a long break, so I installed PlayOnline last night, and then patched it. It was running fine. I then installed the game, and then tried to install CoP, but it turns out my DVD drive is busted...
So, after a few hours of being annoyed and not trying to play without expansions, I tried it... And now, when I try to run pol.exe, the loading screen comes up, the window opens, but nothing is inside the window, my CPU usage goes up to 100%, and it freezes.
It was working before, as I was able to patch it... But now, not. Nothing has changed, besides installing the game after patching PlayOnline Viewer.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm really missing FFXI, and getting frustrated

EDIT: So, I tried reinstalling POL Viewer, and it still does this. It patches, I exit, and next time I try to run it, it doesn't work.
