Hi there,
This is just a moan here, but I am lucky to have a 60GB PS3. I have had this since the date of release in the UK.
I have been running FFXI on PC for about 4 years. I imported the US version for PC. But I would like to use my PS3 for running they game.
I am very fustrated with the fact that SE have not released a PAL verson of the FFXI, otherwise I could install the game onto my ps3.
I know that other region PS3's can install and play the game. Why doesnt SE have the idea to just produce a version for PAL region. Like the Collectors 2008. I would be a ps2 game, but only the front they state, only for use with 60GB PS3, and finaly being able to play it on ps3 would be a god send.
Even if, Sony do an update to allow FFXI from orther regions to run, I mean all it would take is for them to specify the DVD code SUS-xxxxx thingy to be allowed to play.
I am interested to know how many other people are in the same boat, or if anyone has had any sucess installing FFXI US or JAP on PAL 60GB PS3.
Thank you for your time.
