Hey all, first post but I've been a lurker for awhile
Anyway, I'm coming back to FF:XI again. I originally started on PC but then was forced to switch to the PS2. I'm looking to start playing again, but on a PC. That being said, I don't own a PC capable of running the game and I don't have any parts I can really salvage from anything that would be usefull. So, I will have to build a PC from scratch.
Lastly, and worse yet...I have a bare minimum of a budget to get me going.
I've been hitting up Newegg, but I really don't know what cheap brands are worth a damn and what I've picked out so far is probably rubbish. I'm really looking for ground up build suggestions. I was thinking about a Micro ATX case and small MoBo, but really I don't care. The only job this computer need to do is to play the game at a mid-high resolution, high setting and with no choppiness, and run FireFox and WinAmp. Other than that, it needs to be as cheap as possible. Any build suggestions?
