Ok, so my laptop has an 8600m GT card in it, and I run windows vista. I know, I'm already half way sunk with that combo. But the game has been running decently enough (it had its' spikes every now and then) until I updated it. What the crap?
Anyone else with an upper Nvidia card and/or Vista experiencing a HUGE decrease in FPS? The game is running in darn slow motion now that I've updated. I've got updated drivers (though the game was running fine the other day) and all that shaz, did I miss something? Seems crazy that this patch officially ruined my FFXI. Would hate to have to cancel because it won't run on my laptop (runs fine on the outdated PC though!)
