2- The Xbox runs in japanese only or language is set according with your Xbox language setup??
3 - To any JP users: How the payment with Webmoney works?? I read some info on FFXI japanese site, but my japanese isnt good enough.

Re: Question about JP and NA versions

JP and NA versions are non-compatible. If you buy the JP POL, then FFXI and all the expansions must also be JP. A lot of people found this out the hard way, and I know there's a thread or five around here somewhere about it. This rule actually applies to all regional versions -- JP, EU and NA. You cannot mix up the versions.

As far as the Xbox, I'm assuming it would default to Japanese through setup and installation, though it is possible you might get lucky and it would use your default language settings. Menus and other in-game things will very likely still be in Japanese though.

However, if you can't read (or write) Japanese, I would suggest importing the NA/EU versions so you can understand everything. The NA version doesn't get the IME by default, and if you have issues with GMs while you use an IME (I won't go into details on how, you can find out yourself) it will cause even more issues. Basically, that means NA version users can't write in Japanese without an illegal IME, even if they know the language.

KoZ, while the OP may sound legit, its just a setup for Kimz to do an adbot routine.

      Just ignore them.

The OP probably was perfectly legit (otherwise, that's one hell of a long setup), but has probably also moved on with life one way or another by now.

While expansions have to stick with regions, etc, you CAN log in on other clients.

If you make your account on the Japanese client, you can still play on an American client with the same log in info.

The only restriction is you have to register any expansions in the same region of the client you made your account on.

Yeah, he's only the third poster today to use the term "webmoney," which is a term used all the time on this forum.

And Kimz, in all three of his posts, has an answer about "webmoney."

Nah, nothing suspicious in the slightest there.

Yeah, Kimz is obviously just spamming. But the OP here, and the other poster (two cross-posts by the same person) were not posted today. 2006 and 2007. If they were a set-up, that's some really dedicated long-term spam bait right there.

Man more than a year setting this up? Gotta be crazy to hope this would actually stick.
